Nice to have a local ice rink available for a skate. Big seating area for spectators along the side of the rink. Music, lots of friendly people, and lots of parking.

We love the Belmont Iceland. Our daughter loves to skate there. Here is why we love it:Great Schedules. Whether you are looking for classes, camps or open skate time, they have it all. Great Teachers/Coaches. They have coaches there at all levels.Very accommodating staff.Well maintained ice.Here is what they need to improve:The front room and benches need to be refurbished. It is just old, worn and dirty.Some of the senior male staff are very aggressive on the ice, they skate at full speed during open hours across the rink scaring the learners and kids, and it is downright dangerous. Yes they may be good, but the folks around them are not!A good rink that we will continue to use.

This is a great local ice rink with open skate times, lessons, birthday parties, and similar. The ice is well groomed and as a large rink there's usually plenty of room to skate and spread out.The facility itself is a bit run down, done in the old 80's style of dark carpeting and stained ceiling panels. The kids don't notice those kinds of details, though.
