eagle rafting

One Wednesday afternoon i decided I I would like to go rafting. I gave Eagle Rafting a call, I was looking for a Friday rafting trip, I was told that they had no rafting on the Friday, but he could get me into a kayak. That would be great. That evening I looked online a saw what I was getting into, I do not swim well and the photo on the site scared me. I gave Joe a call and he told me if needed,he could have someone in the kayak with me and reassured me that everything was going to be fine. For the next few days I was VERY scared, my son and I showed up Friday and after talking with the guides and I was completely fine. They talked me through everything and made me feel I would be safe. I had the time of my life, the guide talked me through the white water, even pulled over one time and showed me the best route to take, The whole town was something special, everywhere I went, everyone I met was great. The trip was so much fun I am returning again, 2 weeks later, If you ever thought of going down the Kern river, Eagle Rafting is the place to do it,Kernville, the best little town in California, I am not just saying that because my name is Kern

My husband, teenage daughter and I went rafting in the family size raft on Father's Day with Keith as our guide. The trip was so great that we decided to come back the next day with our 9 year-old son who had been camping with his friend's family. This trip was even better! This time we went down the river in inflatable kayaks, still with Keith as our guide. He has such an ability to give direction of what to and not to do; not to mention his awesome dry humor. We felt safe every step of the way with him. And the owner, Joe, is a really great down-to-earth guy who operates this business because he loves it so much. Every single person we came in contact with here was a lot of fun and made our trip what it was. Thank you every one of you!! We'll be back next year!

Joe & Keith are legends!! Hope you guys read this one day! Me & a friend booked up a full day of Kayaking with Eagle Rafting, well worth the 50 mile trek from Bakersfield. These guys are excellent guides & really love their job. 1st run of the Kern & we both fell out, but Keith does an amazing job of making sure your safe & helped us back into the kayaks. Joe takes some amazing pictures of you when your going down the rapids, well worth purchasing a few of them ;)

Eagle Rafting was not only an adventure of a lifetime, but the service was impeccable. Everyone that worked there was very helpful and extremely nice. They were informative and very good at their jobs. Also, I would recommend adding the lunch because they were the most delicious turkey sandwiches I've ever had. I did not know I could have that much fun in 4 hours. Water was great, Running fast. The pictures were a nice extra. Glad they were avalible. Lunch was ready and waiting. Fun Stuff. Check one more off of the bucket list. Note: We lost GPS signal on the way thru the mountains. Still easy to find. Be prepared

I have rafted the lower kern previously, not a very good trip. The mountain river adventure guide had us through tree branches covered in ants. So we went upper river with Eagle rafting, not as big water but way more knowledgeable staff, way more nicer trip.(no tree branches or tree ants.)

Our white water rafting experience with Eagle Rafting was amazing. We had such a good time. We did a full day of rafting, 4 runs down a stretch of the Kern River, and it never got boring. Our guide was fun and clearly enjoyed his job. The lunch was much better than your typical box lunch. They served hot dogs, tri-tip and sandwiches. We will definitely go again. Ask your guide to ride bull, it's riding at the front of the raft. It's a little scary, but incredibly fun!

Went on a family church camp to Kern River in mid August with river rafting being one of the activity attractions. Not having made reservations prior to camp, we had to go to several rafting outfits in Kernville to be disappointed when we found rafting services for our group to be limited, that is until we made our way to Eagle Rafting (right beside the river by the bridge). Eagle Rafting not only took our entire group, but they also had the variety of rafts and kayaks accomodating all of us on such short notice. Their staff was very friendly and their river guides were knowledgeable along with emphasizing fun. I'll be sure to go back to Eagle Rafting next time I visit Kern River.

Nous avons passé 2 heures géniales à descendre la Kern River en bouées avec Joe! Joe est un vrai personnage passionné et passionnant.Il a été super avec les enfants et tout le monde a passé un super moment.Nous avons eu en plus la chance d'être accompagnés par River, le labrador, tout le long de notre descente! Après une semaine de visites et de voiture, nous avons vraiment profités de cette magnifique rivière et de nos super guides! A recommander absolument pour toutes ces raisons!
