A great place to stop and spend a few hours sampling the beers. It is relaxed, with friendly staff and very pleasant clients and nice dogs.

First is the excellent beers they offer. The mix changes daily. They also highlight local artists with frequently changing exhibits. Very nice I recently saw was by Eric Soderquist. No food here but there are plenty of good eateries just steps away.

I stumbled on Culture Brewery while walking between Belly Up and Pizza Port. I didn't have a lot of time to stop and visit but it was a nice place to grab a beer. I was very impressed to see that they had a sour beer (a style that does not seem to be very common).

Culture Brewing is a newish brewery in Solana Beach. It’s on South Cedros Ave in the heart of town and is in a great area to walk around. The beer menu is perfect, not too long or short. You’ll find something you like. The reason why I’m not giving 5 stars? There aren’t any seats. I like to kick back, relax, and enjoy my beer, not stand, hovering in a corner, trying to make a seat out of a beer keg. Please. We were in SD visiting family and decided to hang out in Solana Beach for the day. Stumbled across Culture Brewery and Tasting Room in the design district and shopping area along Cedros Avenue and what a great surprise! We are brewers ourselves and found that they brewed the best beer in San Diego that we have tried. We've tried a lot but certainly not all. We were really impressed. The beer was fantastic and the way they set up the brewery/tasting room is pretty brilliant. Too bad we can't get any of their beer out here on the East Coast!
