natchez garden club

I could not begin to tell you what the Natchez Garden Club has done and does do for Natchez. They are the reason for Natchez being the beautiful city that it is. For without the Garden Club many of the Historic homes would no longer be standing. A great debt of gratitude is owed to these tireless workers.

We met the garden club on the day of their meeting. The president of the club gave so much of her time to talk to us about the history of the house, the club and the Souths history. I would go back to Natchez to meet the ladies again. I think they call it beautiful southern hospitality- at it's best .

They do a nice job keeping up and preserving Natchez. They seem to be a very good organization. Thank goodness for all of their work. Your work is appreciated by the visitors!

The Garden Club has restored both of these homes and the tours are well worth the time. Our guides were both well informed and interesting. And you can ask questions at any time. One is an Antebellum Mansion and the other is from the Revoluntionary Period so make sure to see them both.
