This is an older (1970's?) shopping 'mall' or strip. No 'fancy' retail or restaurants, but a good diversity of everyday needs type of retail. - Large grocery chain store - 'Stop and Shop" with pharmacy inside; also some medium to low end clothing stores; an excellent vision place - with state of the art equipment for evaluating your eyesite; a few middle road restuarants - a buffet place, and jamaican food store; couple of gyms - Cardio Express for the middle priced place, but has good updated recently equipment; around the back of the parkade is "Iron Will' - a great training gym - owned by a three state female bodybuilding champion with a great attitude and an excellent trainer 'Carmen"

I have been to many "cheap seat", second run, movies theaters. They can be gross and disgusting, and sometimes feel dangerous, but not this one. It is small, clean, and offers a value that I can appreciate. If I miss a movie in the theater by a week or two I am always happy to see it there.

This small theater with 2 screens is a great place to go to watch a movie. Having been there many times I see that it appeals to families and 50+ adults. The price is right, the staff are friendly and the parking lot is small and convenient The smallness of this place is appealing because you can park, walk in and see the movie without the long lines and hordes of people in the lobby as found in the multiplexes. This is a great little theater.

Not much there anymore but Shady Glenn Restaurant for cheese burgers and the Parkade Health Food Store are worth the visit.

A theater like this is a dying breed. These days, the two main types of theaters are 1) the 24-screen megaplexes with stadium seating and $14 ticket prices, and 2) the two-screen art house theaters that specialize in obscure or foreign films. Parkade offers regular seating, low ticket prices, and mainstream movies, which is all fine with me. The showings are never really full in my experience, so I've never had another patron sit directly in front of me and compromise my view. The concessions are relatively cheap as well, and if you can find a popcorn/ticket combo on groupon I say jump on it.

Saw movie here couple weeks ago. The movie quality was so poor several people left the theater and demanded their money back. The sound faded in and out. Many of the movies they show are already out on red bx.

Small family run theater located behind the Stop & Shop. My husband and I love this theater so much in fact that we'll often wait for movies to leave the main theaters and see it here instead. This theater plays movies a few weeks after they've left the larger chain theaters (but before they are released on DVD). Admission is much more affordable than chain theaters! $7 for adults, $5 for kids, seniors and matinee showings. They sometimes have combo deals too that will include popcorn & a soda for $7-$10. Good snack and drink selection (Pepsi products). They even have those ice slush drinks. The actual theaters are older style - think velvet red chairs and a slightly sloping small theater. There are 4 different theaters. While I have never attended any of the theater events I do know they host birthday parties, comedy nights, haunted theater events and even hypnotists.
