White Pine Ski Resort is an awesome beginning to intermediate ski area at the base of the Wind River Mountains. It is perfect for those just learning to ski or board, it is family friendly, affordable, there are almost never lines for the lifts, great snow, and convenient parking! What more could you ask for?The lodge is really nice for a small mountain, there is a restaurant (try the cheese fries!), bar (that serves Pinedale's own Wind River Brewery beers), and rental shop! There are 2 lifts, one for beginners going up part way, and one to the top of the mountain.There is also an amazing network of groomed cross country skiing trails that are free and totally fun. White Pine is a blast and definitely worth a visit.
