shea center for the performing arts

Went to a concert on the campus of William Paterson University on a winter night, we enjoyed the concert but the facility was so oppressively hot if the theater that it spoiled the evening. We complained and was told they knew about the problem even before the show started, maintenance was called and there was nothing they could do. I would think twice about attending anything at this venue.

I have been here many times in the past and always enjoyed many great performances by fantastic artists. I can say I hold a special place in my heart for Shea center. Its located at William Paterson University Campus. I went here in the 70's and the campus was beautiful. It has grown over the years to become one of the most beautiful campus in New Jersey. If you have the chance to go to Shea Center, do not pass up the chance. The prices are reasonable; and you will enjoy yourself.

We enjoyed a performance of The MAgic Flute. It was a good production, not the Met, but good. Its easy to get to also.

There are wonderful shows and programs throughout the year. I have seen three performances this year. The shows are all reasonably priced. Last night, we saw a show about Hank Williams. Another show was titled "The Prince and the Showboy", a cabaret type performance. The third program was a re enactment of a popular novel with one woman playing all the characters. Each show was great. There are children's programs and classical and jazz concerts.
