If you visit Roseville, MN this winter you can take advantage of incredibly reasonable skating prices for the whole family! PLUS OVALumination runs from November - January every season. That is the annual holiday light festival that feature over 100 arborviate and evergreen trees ranging in height from 15 - 50 feet decorated with over 67,000 (in 2014) multi colored LED lights. The cool thing about the event is that the lights are free! Anyone can drive by or drive in, park for free and check them out. That's awesome but the MAGICAL part comes when you bring or rent skates, pay a small fee to skate and head out. It is simply magical to be skating outside, under the glow of thousand of lights while snow gently falls and holiday music plays over the speaker system. If that doesn't put you in the holiday spirit not much else will!
