The Slab is the oldest contniously running bussiness in Post Falls. I've been here on and off since before Idaho raised its drinking age (guess I just aged myself). This used to be the place to go what ever your age. Not so much anymore, but with a reason. The dance floor is small. Once you have a few partner dancers out on the floor there isn't much room to just go wild. A few times a night a portion of the floor may be taken over by line dancers. If everyone was willing to share then just about everyone could dance here. The Slab is smoke free-ish on Friday and Saturday nights. It is full blown smoking the rest of the week so the smell lingers. Friday and Saturdays there is a area set aside and walled off for smokers. If you are not planning a long night out come early before the smoke gets thick. The Slab tends to have some of the best and occassionally underrated country bands in the Inland Northwest. The lights and sound systems are nice. Great Bartenders. They even have a Jukebox if the band is not playing. Check for their drink specials. Also they have a great pizza place attached. Check it out if you come to the Slab. Did I mention they have pool and darts too.
