Great library, with up to date books, mags and newspapers, as well as books on tape. Great place to spend those rainy afternoons in Bethany! A simple pleasure just being there.Plenty of computers, and major publications.... All current!Only complaint is that it can get noisy by the front desk, from patrons and even librarians.Enjoy this oasis!

Very friendly staff. Accommodating to locals and out of-towners alike. Computer stations and separate areas for teens and kids. For a local library, it's got it all.

When we are in Bethany this is one of our first stops for DVDs and local beach papers. The staff has many volunteers and is always helpful. There are lots of speakers and programs all season. They run a great fund raiser "cottage" tour in July and a kicking book sale in August. The beach, bandstand and library are the heart and soul of Bethany.

Probably the worst library in Delaware. The selection is limited and the staff is not helpful whatsoever.

We have a condo nearby and spend a lot of time in Bethany. The library is a great place to spend down time. The staff is quite helpful and there is a lot material to brouse.

If you are in the mood for unpleasant service and little to no selection, this is the library for you. The least helpful library in Delaware.

This library is wonderful. It has the usual books and magazines. It also lends DVDs. It is staffed by the nicest, knowledgeable, helpful people.

I know these ladies are volunteers but can they please be a little bit friendly? Apparently, they don't like the non-locals visiting. They are cold and very "clinical" in conversation. I love visiting the library, but I feel like I'm not wanted and I feel like I'm walking on eggshells at this one.Perhaps a pep talk? Smile, it's not so bad, you live at one of the best places on earth!

The library is located on a quiet street in Bethany and offers and nice place to stop and relax and stay cool on a hot day with young children in tow or a quiet spot for a rainy day.

We are a small town, but with a big town library. Beautiful building and dedicated staff. The town should be very proud to have such a facility.

The library handles summer demand very well. They have an excellent selection of books and many interesting programs.

OC's new library is a great getaway for summer workers and locals. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good resources and local Internet connection.

This library presents just the right setting for choosing books, DVD's or CD books. It's cheery and sedate at the same time. I think much of this is due to the excellent staff. The individuals at the checkout desk are friendly and efficient simultaneously. I like going there whether to check at a book on CD or to just sit and browse through magazines.

Bethany Beach has made a very substantial invetsment in building one of finest libraries in the Delaware area. Very accomodating staff, free computers available for use in the library, very responsive in getting books that you are interested in, a first class facility. Very popular with the locals and visitors.

Why buy one book when it's easy enough to buy 10? The book sale is a part of our annual visit to Bethany Beach -- great selection of current and older titles. Wonderful library with terrific volunteers.
