music city water sports

We've been renting jet skis from Music City Water Sports (and their predecessors) for a few years, but now we're on the hunt for a new place. Why? My family drove all afternoon to meet me for my Birthday evening on the lake. We showed up for our reservations and the gate was locked--no one was there! We called--no one answered. I continued to call and got nothing. Eventually, I called from a different number, they answered, and gave me the biggest load of B.S. I've heard in a while. Granted, the dock was flooded from all of the rain this week, BUT the owner was rude, unprofessional, and unapologetic. He wouldn't even apologize for the fact that his people didn't call to let us know not to come. It is a water-related business located on the lake. Surely they keep reservation records/contact information above the three feet of water that was on their property (if not, I hope they never get audited). The owner reluctantly offered us a 10% discount AFTER I asked, and he didn't seem happy about doing that. I don't want the 10% discount. I don't want to rent their jet skis - what I DO want to do is to warn people NOT to get their hopes up about actually getting to rent the jet ski they've reserved at Music City Water Sports. Chances are, they'll have a lock on the gate and their ringer turned off.
