warm lake estate vineyard and winery

Warm Lake Estate was a catalyst for the current wine region along the Niagara Wine Trail. Growing a pinot noir in a wonderful limestone soil, protected by the very escarpment that the limestone came from, there were some nice wines a few years back. It is closed as a winery, though some of the fruit is still being bottled by others local wineries.The original owner and winemaker had a variety of New York State wines for sale in his tasting room when he first opened. Miss the days when this was just starting up.
