These are the worlds best rapids - #7 to be exact. These guides are the best!! They make sure that you have fun and at the same time they keep your safety a priority. That is the most for me!

We have used various WV white water companies, and there are more similarities thandifferences. We like the smaller rafts.In late summer, the New and Gauley may be running low, so it is important to call the company for notice of a discharge from a dam.Several rivers in Western MD and WV can be very technical and challenging, and the New River offers a variety. We take care not to raft "your grandmother's" ride. Guess we cannot recommend the Cheat.We like to know about the skill level of the guide.We do not care about a "gourmet lunch."We do not camp or stay at a campground, but we do prefer the state park lodging.Never have had a bad run in 40 years of rafting, but clients have to like the outdoors, the thrill, getting wet, and working as a team. Guess we have never rafted in the rain, but would.We prefer the all day runs. The trip involves travel from Ohio, State park lodging, and restaurants. Well worth the adventure, and can be a quality family experience.

This was the best time to go for new comers to white water I had the best time. The weather was perfect and so was the water. The teens had a great time. We look forward to going again, and bringing more friends and family next year. The staff was excellent and very knowledgeable, thank you Steve!
