I went on a day trip with Fish Commander in September with friends and it was incredible!! Cpt. Bradley and his crew were very knowledgable and helpful not to mention put us on the fish early! We spent the day steadily catching tuna with a few bonus cobia. The fishing plus the great accomodations made for a perfect weekend. This was my second trip and I will definitely take more!

Got the invite from an old college buddy tag along on a trip in September of 2014. It was a top notch fishing experience. The guys at Fish Commander are homegrown on the gulf coast. These fishermen know the waters and their business. We caught over a dozen black fin, a wily old yellow fin and two cobia. I have already booked a trip of my own and highly recommend it to others.-Geaux Tigers

I went to grand isle and stayed at lance walkers place it is incredible. I have never caught so many fish in my whole life. My daughter who doesn't even like fishing has begged me to go back it is really a paradise.

Just wanted to drop a line thanking you for a fun fishing trip and impressive accommodations. It was windy and a little rough, but not all to bad. I only had one seasick. We didn’t get into the yellowfin, but we caught one Yellowfin, several blackfin tuna and a nice Ling.Capt. Ballard was great, we enjoyed his company and his enthusiasm. A lot of Captains might have laid out or chose to fish protected waters, but he fought the wind and sea to put us on the fish we were after. A lot of charter captains in my past have chosen to stay at the wheel and run the mate ragged, but Albert was right there on the deck with us when he wasn’t driving the boat or performing maintenance/repairs.All-in-All a 5-STar trip for sure!

We stayed here with some friends with our two small kids and theirs. Everything was nice and neat. The location is great as you are right in the middle of everything. I will definitely go back!

First off I have long since maintained that fishing off Grand Isle Louisiana is the best fishing the world over, and every time I go I am reminded why I believe that, and then of course there's Capt. Lance and Capt. Bradley, very courteous friendly respectful and sincere folks, fishing on charters in Alaska as often reminded me of what a privilege it is to fish with these two guys who have all the reputation of good ol people from the south.! When it comes to the fish, there's not much to say, it speaks for itself....but I can assure you That day after day year in and year out Capt. lances boat come home in the evening along with many other guide services and when he unloads his outrageous meat hauls everybody else is staring and shaking their heads in unbelief!! you guys are awsome... I've been out with lance 2 times and had a great trip both times. Very nice boat and plenty of fish.

I will start out and say I have been on many deep sea trips and they have always been a bust, or the dreadful head boat trips. I went on my first trip with all of my lifelong friends and it was like the crew were a part of that family and we hauled fish in and it worked like a well oiled machine with Capt. Bradley and the fish we caught were all of size and the species we were out for, we caught the limit on mangrove, red snapper, black fin tuna, yellow fin tuna, cobia and a cooler full of chicki daulphfin and the next trip was just as good. The cabins were clean and comfortable after a hard day of fishing.

My husband and I came down to Grand Isle to spend the July 4 holiday with some of our friends. We aren't big into fishing so can't say much about the actual fishing personally but, the friends we were with fed us real good both nights. I also heard over and over about the hauls Lance's trips were bringing in! The accommodations are nice and simple with everything you need to cook up a big feast for all ya mates. Only thing I'd say is make sure to give them a call if you're running real late. Overall super cool family run business :)

Six of us went out for a 24 hour trip on their new 60' Hatteras, ROBO, and it was best deep sea charter trip have been on (and I have been on well over a dozen). The weather was great, and despite the poor fishing calendar, the crew consistently put us on fish. We stopped about 12 miles out for bottom fishing off the stationary rigs, and caught plenty of grouper, snapper, and amberjack. 75 miles out at the floating rigs they put us on yellowfin for several hours, it was my first yellowfin experience, and we all loved it. The boat is great, plenty of bunks and the cabin is very comfortable. The crew was excellent, it was a great trip and I highly recommend this outfit for anyone looking to pull in lots of meat and have an enjoyable experience in the process -- Kevin (May 18, 2014 charter)

We have been fishing with Captain Lance every year since 2006. He has put us on some meat hauls. We have never had a bad trip with him. He has a game plan every time he leaves port. The cabins they have are very nice and maintained in top condition at a reasonable price.

Had so much fun, caught a ton of fish, 4 large tuna, and grouper. Their camps we stayed in were clean and nice and super convenient! They were hospitable and knowledgable of the area. Very experienced. Would recommend the Fish Commander to anyone looking for a great deep sea fishing experience!!!
