Just walk in and stroll around. It's very well kept and very nice to walk around. Lots of seating corners.
If you are looking for one of the most relaxing free things to do you have to go to the Society of the Four Arts. There is always a fabulous exhibit in the gallery or a wonderful program to enjoy. The amazing gardens are peaceful and beautiful even though the are not very large you can still spend at least an hour admiring the winding walk ways. Just remember that they close at 5:00 PM
We entered through the small but cool King Library, stopping to use the convenient restrooms. As we went into the courtyard, we saw a moon gate to our right. One has to go around to enter the square walled Chinese garden. A peaceful water feature in its center is surrounded by a walkway, shadowed by tall trees. It engenders tranquility. The rest of the large space in the larger campus has pavilions and sculptures, making for a interesting stroll. We picked up a Society Season Calendar; it many offerings suggested that we should make more trips to Palm Beach.
A surprise gem. Pretty and comfortable. Lots of playful lizards and naked statues (I used my thumb to make the pictures less, um, evocative).
Posh estate like palm beach venue for walking through sculpture gardens, listening to the occasional string quartet and saturday met opera telecast,,lectures in the library area or special exhibitions--small charge for museum and shows.well worth the visit.
My husband and I love strolling through the garden whenever we are in the palm beach area .Also check out their calendar for special events such as concerts and art exhibits. It certainly lives up to its name!
I'd say this garden is a lovely place to wander for about 30 minutes if you're in the area. Pretty Asian section, beautiful grounds, quiet.
To get away from the noise and traffic, we enjoyed our walk through these gardens, with many "rooms" featuring different kinds of South Florida gardens.
This is a beautiful garden you can easily spend 30-60 minutes touring the different sections and viewing the artwork on display. The doorsteps to the library are made of actual corals (illegal now) which were very beautiful. When we visited, it was empty so we had a nice quiet stroll.
There was no one else here when we came so was very quiet. Enjoyed wandering among the plants, paths and statues. Loved most of the statues. Thought the Sior one was Maleficent when we first saw it.got closer and it kind of made me think of a character that might be used in Howl's castle. Liked the recovery wing and the Churchill/Roosevelt statues. Have to say I didn't get the room set aside for the two large statues of fruit. But everything else was beautiful
This venue provides a nice break when visiting Palm Beach. There are several garden areas and sculptures to view. We particularly enjoyed the Chinese garden. But if you want to be fully informed about the property, stop and get a brochure before you wander around. We picked up one as we were leaving and found it interesting to learn that the gardens were originally created to educate new residents about appropriate tropical plantings.
This was a lovely garden with sculptures dispersed throughout. There are benches to sit and contemplate or just get out of the Florida sun. I happened to visit on a day when the library was closed, so was unable to see that.
We walked through the gardens and enjoyed it very much, especially the 'jungle' to the right as you first enter. Many park benches and very peaceful and a variety of tropical plants.
We enjoyed beautiful statues, flowers, trees! The garden is divided into few sections, all are beautiful.
This is a hidden gem in Palm Beach. It is located on Royal Palm Way as soon as you cross over the Royal Palm Bridge. The parking lot and entrance is on the side street. This garden has a little of everything. It is beautiful and well maintained. We did not know about this hidden gem until someone at the Ann Norton Sculpture Garden in West Palm Beach recommended that we go here. This is a hidden gem and therefore highly recommended.
