This is a beautiful and challenging course. There are grass tees at the range and a nice area to practice chipping and bunker shots.Overall the course maintenance has been great and an improvement over the past few years. The service, from the pro shop and starters, has always been wonderful. The tee times are generally spaced so that there is rarely a back up. Occasionally there will be a canned food drive where you can get a reduced rate for three cans of food that is donated to a local charity. The pro shop and small eating area is a temporary clubhouse, so if you are looking for a nice sit down area go to the Tiger's Eye Clubhouse and enjoy the beautiful view from the veranda.

Great place for lunch with family or friends. The people are very friendly and the menu offers a reasonable selection to choose from. They have several beers on tap but the selection is limited.

Great experience from the moment we drove into the course. The gatekeeper was very polite and made us feel like part of the family. The guys who met us at the carts very friendly. The greens are beautiful and very well kept. All together will love to come back and play again.

We had an early tee off and they start golfers on both nines which means you're waiting on every hole of the "back" which for us was 1-9. It's an okay course and in reasonable shape. Not worth the price they charge unless you get a heck of a deal - at this price I want service and they didn't have it. It felt like a volume numbers course.

Played all 4 Big Cats courses. By far the best. Terrific layout but fair. Has some awesome holes on the course. Rack rate is $165. Small trailer type clubhouse. Staff was excellent!!Greens were a bit slow. Par 3's are really, really good holes. We all loved this course!Would definitely play again.

Played Leopards Chase when it was relatively new several years ago and the greens were not in good condition. I must say, this golf course has matured very well. These were some of the best greens I have played on in several years. You could throw darts at the pin positions. Their greens are Bentgrass which is very very hard to keep alive in the Myrtle Beach area. But, Leopards Chase has done an excellent job. This is one very well manicured and scenic golf course. The staff was very friendly. Don't expect much for the clubhouse. They operate out of a temporary building/trailer. It deserves a look if you are in the Myrtle Beach area.

Despite all the rain course in good shape. Nothing to special about layout and they still operate out of a trailer. No deal on 6 pack of beer as you'll pay $18.00. Played for $46.00 with 2 cans of food. Still a little bit too much compared to other local courses with passport.

I had heard a lot about this course. It did not live up to the hype. The tee boxes had almost no grass on them. The fairways and greens were I good shape, but the greens were really slow. The staff was very accommodating, especially the starter. There are at least 10 far better courses to play in the area.

This course like the others were very average. The staff was not accommodating and made us feel like we were a nuisance.

Following our round at Tiger's Eye (in the same complex of courses), we ended our golf trip at Leopard's Chase. Spectacular, and likely one of the hardest courses in the area if played from the Black Tees (7155 yds). If you are playing well, and have nerves of steel, you will manage to score well, generally, the landing areas are generous, but hit it a bit left or right, and forget it. there is no finding the balls that go into the trees or high grass. I would love to play this course when it is in "tip-top shape". It wasn't when we played Oct. 3, 2012, but still in very good condition. It is obvious that the 4 courses in this complex ( about 40 minutes from North Myrtle Beach) are struggling financially. The putting green was closed, the practice area in disrepair. The course was in good condition, with the exception of the bent grass greens which showed some heat damage, and were a bit slower than generally seen on a course of this exceptional caliber. I hope the economy improves and they start to make some $$$ so they can up the maintenance. I loved this layout and challenge, our favorite of the 4 courses we played ( Pawley's Plantation, Heather Glen, Tiger's Eye, and Leopard's Chase). Don't even think about playing here if it is cart paths only! You'd be better off walking. Nice, friendly staff, and Bob the starter was the best!

Played for $46. Staff was friendly and course was in great shape. A definite must play if you are in the area to play golf.

Un terrain rempli de défi pour tout genre de golfeur. Beaucoup de trappes de sable comme dans la savane africaine! Beaucoup d'eau, une chute au 18e trou. ¨Ca vaut la peine d'y faire un tour.
